This informative program will familiarize you with the theory and practice of hydrogeology, including guiding principles, basic mathematical relationships of groundwater flow, the mechanisms of groundwater contaminant fate and transport, the range of effective soil and groundwater remedial strategies, the groundwater regulatory regime in New Jersey, and the application of a range of groundwater models. The presenters are on the cutting edge of recent developments, including emerging contaminants and regulatory changes.

In addition to 1.8 Rutgers CEUs (without lab) / 2.4 Rutgers CEUs (with lab), this hydrogeology training course is approved for the following credits:
NJ Licensed Water & Wastewater Operators: 18 TCHs without the lab; 24 TCHs with the lab (Approval #01-041301-30)
NJ Health Officers & REHSs: Rutgers University, NJAES, Office of Continuing Professional Education has been approved by the New Jersey Department of Health as a provider of NJ Public Health Continuing Education Contact Hours (CEs). Participants who complete this education program will be awarded 19.75 CEs without the Lab Day or 22.75 CEs with the Lab Day.
