This month’s column highlights the work the Fort Worth Consumer Health Division, 2004 Samuel J. Crumbine Consumer Protection Award winner, is doing to build its capacity through innovative means. The division has utilized an integrated team approach to maximize its effectiveness in a time of budget and workforce cuts, as well as enable staff to develop and embrace the ownership of larger public health challenges.
