Call for Abstracts: SOPHIA is welcoming abstract submissions for lightning talks and innovative workshop sessions through this Friday, January 25th! Don't miss this opportunity to showcase your practice and help advance the field of HIA. Are you unsure where your idea fits best? Take a look at the links below to read more about each call or contact Ellen (ellen@hiasociety.org) with any questions.
Call for Sessions: Making the most of practitioner creativity SOPHIA is looking for interesting and innovative ways to explore HIA-related topics and the diverse practitioner experiences represented at the Practitioner Workshop. Have an idea for a session? We want to hear from you! Accepted submissions will create the basis for concurrent breakout sessions during the second day of the Practitioner Workshop. Leverage this opportunity to lead the way in the HIA field and highlight what matters to you most as a practitioner. Find out more on SOPHIA's website and submit your proposal here (https://hiasociety.org/callforideasPW).
Call for Lightning Talks: Making the most out of five minutes Lightning talks are fast-paced, 5-minute presentations that are meant to be fun and informative. Since the 2016 Practitioner Workshop the lightning talk session has provided a dynamic platform to highlight innovative work and resources. Capitalizing on the theme of the workshop, we want to hear about all the creative ways you have made the most out of your practice. Read more about examples of presentation topics and find out more here (https://hiasociety.org/page-18127).
If you are planning on submitting a proposal for a session or a lightning talk, please register before you do! You can register now and pay later.
